She is survived by: her children, Demel Cooper (Lindsay) of Fort Bragg, Tierani Tryon of Norfolk, Virginia, Ashli Tryon (Mike Osborne) and Shaine Cooper (Clayton Killgore); her brother Doug Cason of Tuckerman; her grandchildren, Kwinten, Eli, Erica, Zora, Nate, Trent, Hayden and Declan; her niece Carly Cason; and her nephew Brady Cason (Brigitte).
