She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert W. Scudder Sr. and Evelyn Doris Scudder; her husband Alfred "Jack" Penix; her sister Mary Evelyn Meyers; her sister-in-law Eva Joyce Scudder; and her great-nephew Nicholas Ammons.
She is survived by: her brothers, Herbert W. Scudder Jr. and Robert L. Scudder (Diane). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and a host of extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
