He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Russell and Syble Modine Elrod Russell; his wife Thelma Jean Russell; his daughter June Russell; and his brothers, Dennis Russell and Ricky Russell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Modine Ross of Dallas, Mona Russell of Dallas and Betty Bertrand of Dallas; his brothers, Johnny Russell (Michelle) of Turrell and Steve Russell of Turrell; his stepchildren, Timmy Gann (Virginia) of Trumann, Paul Gann (Angie) of Marked Tree, Preston Gann (Phobee) of Pocahontas, Jeanie Busby (Donald) of Trumann, Tina Stone (Scottie) of Lepanto, Frances Busby (Hubert) of Marked Tree, Carlas Smith (James) of Marked Tree and Donna Turner (Tony) of Tyronza; and his sisters-in-law, Melvy Russell of Manila and Donna Russell of Olive Branch. He is also survived by thirty six grandchildren, seventy great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
