He was predeceased by: his parents, Redge Young and Hester Young (Potts); his daughter Sherry Jo Young; his sisters, Bonnie Faye Young, Mary Jo (Ed Harris) and Jane (Quintin Phillips); his parents-in-law, John L. and Liz Sullivan; his brother Jim; his siblings-in-law, Juanita Sullivan and Denard Horn; and his daughter-in-law Sue Young.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Young (Sullivan); his children, Jim Young of Valley Springs and Jannie Crow (Mike) of Leslie; his grandchildren, Bruce Salmon (Nicki), Laura Jo Wilburn (Robert) and Jeff Carter (Paige); his great grandchildren, Cody Salmon (Ashton), Tate Salmon (Gracie), Katie Ann Wilburn, Hunter Wilburn, Keeton Carter, Lyla Carter and Bodee Carter; his great great grandchildren, Ada Salmon, Charlie Newberry and Tucker Salmon; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Horn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives and dear friends.
