Mary left this world on September 28, 2024 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alfred Funston and Opal Mary Funston (Clay); her husband Charles Pond; her siblings, Jim Funston (Gloria), Fred Funston and Rowena Mae Phelan (Ralph); and her son-in-law Al Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Clay Pond (Dawn), Wanda Mae Pond and Karon Ann Pierce; her brother Al Funston; her sister-in-law Diann Funston; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Satterwhite, Stephanie Satterwhite, Charlie Pierce, John Pierce, Clayton Pond and Jennifer Pond. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many dear friends.
