He was predeceased by: his mother Pauline Fields; his daughter Krystal Smith; and his brother Gene Smith. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smith; his son Kirby Smith (Robin) of Alma; his grandchildren, Ransom Lewis and Karsyn Smith; and his friends, Johnny Elmore, Jerry Testerman, Luis Ortiz, Jason Testerman, Kevin Allen, Dennis Allen, Buddy Irvin, Kirby Smith and Ransom Lewis. He is also survived by numerous nieces' nephews and cousins.
