He is survived by: his wife Clara McConnell (Clipp) of Van Buren; his children, Melissa Bishop, Keith McConnell, Brandon McConnell, Jared McConnell and James Puma; his stepchildren, Teresa Weigel, Christina McConnell and Robert Minter; and his brother Jack McConnell. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
