Delta Moore Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2026, at the age of 80, Delta Moore of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Delta departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Delta may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Delta leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Vess and Nellie Vess (Truett); and her siblings, Mary Bennett, Jackie and Tommy Hendricks.

She is survived by: her children, Dianna Spain (Chris) of Van Buren, Robert Wayne Messick (Karen) of Sayre, OK and Eric Moore (Juanita) of Van Buren; and her brothers, Sammy, Glen and James "Spud" Hendricks. She is also survived by Ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ocker Memorial Chapel (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956).
