Dona Joyce Watson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on March 10, 2025, at the age of 77, Dona Joyce Watson of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Dona may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Dougan and Cynthia Dougan Gattis; and her sister Cynthia Alice Gentry. She is survived by: her husband Jim Watson; her daughter Becky Wilson (Trey) of Fayetteville; her granddaughters, Ashley and Brittney Wilson of Fayetteville; and her pet Oliver.

In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Cavanaugh Church Building Fund.
