With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ella Jo Peters (Van Buren, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 28, 2026 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Henson and Ella Henson (Langston); her husband James Henry Peters; her children, Barbara Warren and Scott Peters; and her siblings, Susie Hazelton, Jean Morse, Deloris Walsh, Verdie Ward, Neal Henson and Gale Henson.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Kelli Peters of Alma; and her grandchildren, Amanda Fouts (Heath) of Muldrow, Adam Warren (Ashley) of Tomahawk, KY, Newt Peters (Kristy) of Van Buren, Jacob Peters (Cailyn) of Van Buren, Cooper Peters of Alma, Kalen "Newt" Peters, Ayden Warren and Heath Fouts. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
