He was predeceased by: his father F. L. Hurst; and his granddaughters, Emma Joy Hurst and Laurel Claire Specht. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hurst; his children, Melissa Hurst of Benton, Melanie Specht (Jim) of Haskell, Okla. and Greg Hurst (Crystal) of Van Buren; his mother Mary Jean Hurst of Hot Springs; his siblings, Gail Eckard of Hot Springs and Rodney Hurst (Sharon) of Hot Springs; and his grandchildren, Evelyn, Harrison, Norah Jane, Ava, Ella and Mason.
