He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Marion; his parents, Charles Marion and Thelma Marion; his sisters, Sue Suter and Linda Downs; and his nephew Mark Gentry.
He is survived by: his close friend Nancy England; his son Gaylen Dean Marion Jr. (Jamie); his grandsons, Logan Marion, Nicolas Dahlem, Garrett Marion, Braden Dahlem and Jaxon Marion; and his sister Ann Wise. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to any local Cancer, Alzheimer's or Veteran charities in honor of him.
