He was predeceased by : his parents, Buford Leon and Ruby May Jones (Dodson); his wife Jo Ellen; his daughter Rebecca Jones Miller (Maryanne) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and his siblings, Billie Ann Elwell and Leon Jones.

He is survived by : his grandson Brandon Jones of Charlotte, NC; and his sister Rose Marie Dapprich of Booneville, AR. He is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
