He is survived by: his sons, Bryan Brown (Angie) of Magnet Cove, Keith Brown (Terri) of Fort Smith, Matt Brown (Jennifer) of Alma, Joe Brown Jr. (Keli) of Van Buren and David Brown of Van Buren. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
