He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Wesley Hindmarsh and Ruth Ellen Hindmarsh (Simmons); his brother James Hindmarsh; and his parents-in-law, Mary Ann Ray and Donald Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Becky Hindmarsh (Ray); his children, Jason Hindmarsh of Pocola, OK, Jeffrey Hindmarsh of Barling, AR, Mark Hindmarsh of Fort Smith, AR, Mary Hindmarsh of Van Buren, AR and Sondra Benton (Elton Jr.) of Greenwood, AR; his grandchildren, Hayden, Andrew, Taylor, Johnny, Braxton, Tyson and Kane; and his brother David Hindmarsh (Anita) of Fort Smith, AR. He is also survived by Brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws and many nieces, nephews.
