He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman McLaughlin and Minnie Marie McLaughlin Sims; his stepfather Cecil Sims; his son Kenny McLaughlin; and his brother Thurman McLaughlin, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Christy Creasey of Van Buren, Jacqueline Johnson of Van Buren, Robby Harris of Alma, George McLaughlin and Blaze McLaughlin; and his sisters, Hazel Allen of McAlester and Alveda Blankenship of Savanna, Oklahoma. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ocker Funeral Home (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Church (3624 Pointer Trail E, Van Buren, AR 72956). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at the Gill Cemetery.
