She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph "J. C." Champion and Helen Champion (Lear); her son Dusty Ferguson; her brother Audie Champion; her brothers-in-law, Larry Ruppel and Daniel Turner; and her son-in-law Waylon Hurd.
She is survived by: her husband Edmond Skelton; her children, Robin Ketchum (William) of Van Buren, Crystal Ferguson of Fort Smith, Sarah Morton (Charlie) of Fort Smith, Jenny Hurd of Fort Smith and David Ferguson of Van Buren; and her sisters, Mary Ann Ruppel of Fort Smith and Jo Anna Turner of Van Buren. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ocker Memorial Chapel (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren (700 Jefferson St, Van Buren, AR 72956).
