With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Harold Motes of Van Buren, Arkansas, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Motes and Rosie Motes (Fowler). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Motes; his children, Linda Patrick (Ron) of Grand Prairie, TX, Kay Duffield (Chuck) of Foster, MO, Peggy Thames of Ashburn, VA, Karen Jones of Van Buren, Martin Gates II (Judy) of Granbury, TX and Darrell Lincks of Van Buren; and his grandchildren, Monica Tabor (Keith) of Van Buren, Makae Duffield of Arvada, Jason Patrick (Karis) of Grand Prairie, Brandon Patrick of Grand Prairie, Chantel Gates of Texas, Joey Reeves of Van Buren and Euell Jones (Lauren) of Van Buren. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
