She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Berry and Willie Berry (Qualls); her husband Douglas Garr; her children, Paul Martin and Cassie Lawson; her brother Roy Gene Berry; and her close friend Donna Dennis.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly "Missy" Thacker (Dwight); and her grandchildren, Tyler Nicodemus (Katelin), Nicholas Nicodemus, MaRae Honaker (Bobby), Alivia Lawson and Aleigh Lawson. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
