As Stuart departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Stuart. Though Stuart may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Miller and Rita Miller; and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his close friend Connie Wood; his daughters, Rachel of Basehor, KS and Randi Miller of Basehor, KS; his stepchildren, Daniel Harp of Muldrow, OK, Jimmy Dean Wood of Muldrow, OK and Danyelle Harp of Muldrow, OK; and his sisters, Kathy Hewitt of Norfork, AR, Anita Tarter of Norfork, AR, Brenda Mathia (Jim) of Jay, OK and Karen Tracy (Curtiss) of Independence, MO.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the VFW Post 534 (110 E Veterans Way, Joplin, MO 64801).
