She was predeceased by: her parents, David Austin, and Valre Austin, Sr. (Plant). She is survived by: her children, Meredith Poindexter of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Zachary Wayne Austin of Van Buren; her brother David Lloyd Austin, Jr. of California; and her grandsons, Reese Lee Poindexter and Rustin Lloyd Poindexter.
