He was predeceased by: his father Charles Harper. He is survived by: his mother Lynda Harper; his wife Marjoree Mike Harper; his children, Madison Harper and Patrick Harper; his siblings, Tracy Eckroth, Scott Harper and Steve Harper; and his nieces and nephews, Kameron Eckroth, Kaitlin Eckroth and Ophelia Harper. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's or The Gary Sinise Foundation.
