Ricky left this world on October 8, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rester Mize and Nettie Baker Mize; his former wife Barbara Tiner Mize; his sister Janice Tanner; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Laster and John Pezzulo.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Freeman Mize; his children, Ricky Mize, Jr., Paula Harris (Danny), Scott Mize and Craig Mize; his sisters, Mavis Laster, Pauline Farris (Charlie) and Betty Pezzulo; his grandchildren, Brandon (Madison), Tyler (Robin), Kaitlynn, Trinity, Bethany (Ronnie), Payton, Travis (Margie), Lane (Sophie) and Rhianna; his great grandchildren, Addiken, Draydence, Paralee, Autry, Harlow, Mazikeen, Elliot, Morgan, McKinley and Jacob; and his pets, Mackey, Bella and Cocoa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Charity Baptist Church (250 Baldwin Rd, Ward, AR 72176). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Charity Baptist Church (250 Balding St, Ward, AR 72176).
