He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Tarpley and Lois Meharg Tarpley; and his grandparents, Rassy, Ina Pitts Meharg, Charles Orla and Mary Tarpley.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Tarpley; his children, Emily Eberhardt, MerriLee Tarpley, Mandee Harper, Martee Loughren, Jeffrey Eberhardt and Steven Eberhardt; and his sister Vicki Tarpley. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
