He is survived by: his siblings, Carl Pitts (Martha) of Horseshoe Bend, Ronald Pitts of Salem, Arkansas and Phyllis Reynolds (Paul) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; his nephews, Keith Pitts (Tabby) of Pangburn and Michael Pitts of Texas; and his niece Kimberly Santos (Yan) of Carson, California. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Flora Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas or the Viola Church of Christ in Viola, Arkansas.
