He was predeceased by : his parents, Clifton Slater and Julia Slater (Wilson); his wife Sue Slater (Sehorn); and his siblings, Jerry Slater, Clyde Slater, Wanda Ferguson and Mary Adams.
He is survived by : his daughters, Sheila (Mike Walker) of Waldron and Marla Ham of Wickes; and his siblings, Larry Slater, Linda Hunt, Noreen Trozzi, Carolyn Waganer and Judy Slater.
