He was predeceased by : his parents, John O. Franklin and Grace Franklin; his wife Ramona Franklin; his grandchildren, Heath Taff and Casie Akins; and his son-in-law Jerry Newberry.
He is survived by : his children, Jan Newberry of Henderson, Sandy Murray (Johnny) of Waldron, Arkansas, Tommy Franklin (LaDonna) of Waldron, Timmy Franklin of Waldron, Arkansas and Jonce Franklin (Amber) of Delaware, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Tammy Gilbert (Marty) of Waldron, Arkansas, Tresha Diffee (Greg) of Henderson, Tennessee, Matthew Taff of Waldron, Arkansas and Tanoka Milligan (Chris) of Poteau, Oklahoma.; his great grandchildren, Haley, Clay, Kayla, Katie, Daisy, Teegan of Matthew, C. J. and Emily; and his great great grandchildren, Lane, Logan, Liam, Landon, Havyn, Emmersynn, Easton, Kenlee, Ty and Blakeley.
