With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Lou Shaw of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Abernathy and Beulah Abernathy (Stone); her husband Herman Shaw; and her son Blake Shaw. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Jones (Jerry) of Little Rock, Janet Smith (Glenn) of Walnut Ridge and Beth Malone (Tim) of Pocahontas; her grandchildren, Adam Jones (Rachael), Emily Sledge (DJ Johnson) of Little Rock, Bekah Beard (Owen) of Walnut Ridge and Matthew Shaw (Journee) of Pocahontas; her stepgrandchildren, Spencer Malone and Halle Malone of Jonesboro; her great grandchildren, Lily Harris, Weston Jones, Maddy Sledge, Ian Barnes, Charlie Sledge, Evan Jones, Emerson Jones, Eli Barnes, Mattie Rose Shaw and Juliana Johnson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Conner Beard, Eli Beard, Alexis Beard, Kassidy Johnson and Deshaun Johnson; her sister Betty Sue Boulton of Little Rock; and her daughter-in-law Dee Dee Shaw of Black Rock. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
