She was predeceased by : her parents, Asie Merritt and Harriett Merritt (Swartz); and her great grandchildren, Chelsey and Kyzer Fry. She is survived by : her husband Ivan Smith; her children, Michael Melon and Michelle Butler (David); her grandchildren, Natasha Fry, Eric Fry (Claudia), Samantha Clark (Kendall) and Christian Fry; and her siblings, Peggy Mathews, Carrie Sandborn, Barbara Skelton and Butch Merritt. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and many other family members & friends.
