She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alvin and Lilly Virginia Nicholas (Whitlow); her husband Rev. O. D. Winfrey; her sons, David Winfrey (Carolyn), Danny Winfrey (Dona) and Don Winfrey; and her siblings, Enis Nicholas, Thurman Nicholas and Ruby McGee.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Tammy Winfrey of Walnut Ridge; and her grandchildren, Scott (Amy), Pam (Jamie), Chris (Sharleenia), Jennifer (Malvin), Sarah (Brandon), William (Jennifer) and Alexander (Candis). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel (3280 US-67 BUS, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
