With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jackie Ray Ward of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jackie Ray Ward to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Pete" Ward and Marie Ward (Harbison); his sisters, Linda Ward, Donna Watkins and Jeanette Fain; his brother-in-law Ezra "Ed" Pierce; and his nieces, Christie Munn, Stephanie Johnson and Natosha Fain.
He is survived by: his wife Tina; his children, Tracey Gates (Wes) of Hoxie and Scott Ward (Angela) of Bryant; his stepson Dr. Robert Jones (Courtney) of Rollo, MO; his siblings, Tommie Pierce of Marshall, AR, Judy Holder (Dennis) of Hoxie, Gail Coleman, Robin Baltz (Doug) of Walnut Ridge, Jerry Ward (Rebecca) of Hoxie and Terry Ward (Barb) of Walnut Ridge; and his close friends, Jack, Mel and Tina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many, many other relatives and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cox Funeral Home (3280 US-67 BUS, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476).
In lieu of flowers, Jack's wife asks that donations be made to Lincoln-Ward Cemetery.
