We announce the death of Lon Earl Davidson of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 81. Lon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Davidson and Juanita Davidson (Riggs); his daughter Amanda Carol Davidson; and his brothers, Cloyce Davidson, Ronnie Davidson and Jackie Davidson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Davidson of Walnut Ridge; his daughter Cheryl Stocker (Tim Stocker); his siblings, Junior Davidson of Hoxie, Donnie Davidson (Eva) of Atoka, Terry Davidson of Doniphan, Harold Davidson (Debbie) of Jonesboro, Jerry Davidson of Doniphan, Missouri, Geraldine Arnold (Doug) of Walnut Ridge and Willene Luster (Bobby) of Portia; his brother-in-law Junior Briner (Susan) of Walnut Ridge; his grandchildren, Brianna Segraves, Jade Lawson, Skyler Stocker (Tara), Bo Stocker (Kelly), Byron Stocker, Peter Kouguine and Derek Lawson; and his great grandchildren, Gemma, Mila Kouguine, Tinsley, Kipp Lawson, Brock, Copelyn, Hollyn, Addison, Witten Stocker and Ember Maxie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge (3280 US-67 BUS, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476).
