He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Woodrow and Thelma Louise Shepherd Knight; his brother Jimmy; and his granddaughter Caitlyn Dempsey. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Knight of Ward; his children, Mike Knight (Kim) of Kingwood, TX, Greg Knight (Sandra) of Searcy, AR, Phillip Dempsey (Cathy) of Pearland, TX, Angela Hankins (Kipp) of Cabot, AR, Deanna Mizell (Gary) of Watson, AR, Tavia Runion (Mike) of Wittmann, AZ and Krissi May (Matt) of Harvest, AL; and his siblings, Danny Knight (Melionee) of Sherwood, AR, Eloise Raley of Arkadelphia, AR and Cathryn Bradley of Sherwood, AR. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in memory of Wayne to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Children's Hospital or food pantry.
