She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee and Flossie Ester McBee; her former husband Elmer Cox; her son Tommy Cox; and her siblings, Ruby Martin, Willie McBee, Jr., Bobby Lloyd, Billy Floyd McBee and Johnny Ray McBee.

She is survived by: her husband James Mashburn; her sisters, Betty Turner, Barbara Sparr, Beverly Ann Keathley (Scott) and Linda Wells (Gerald); her sister-in-law Ramona Speights (Jim); and her children, Tony Johnson, Kenny Mashburn (Shawn), Tracie Freeman and Thomas (Jessica). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
