With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verna Mae Hunter of Warren, Arkansas, who passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Arvel and Letha Blanch Johnston; and her siblings, Willie John Johnston, Erma Jean Johnston, Shirley Fay Johnston, Reba Sue Johnston, Wilma Dean Gasch, Glenda Ann Roachell, Deborah Kay Polk and Mattie Jane Cotton.

She is survived by : her husband Victor Hugh Hunter; her sons, Bruce Allen Hunter (Brenda) and Larry Wade Hunter (Joan); her grandchildren, Jacob Allen Hunter (Cheryl) and Hannah Elizabeth Bryant (Blake); her great grandchildren, Wyatt Oliver Hunter and Walker Howard Bryant; and her brother Charles Everette Johnston. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Frazer's Funeral Home (305 S Main St, Warren, AR 71671).
