He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Barbara Smith; his grandsons, Dylan Winston "Bubba" and Kiambu Smith "Kim"; his nephew Junious Babbs (Floretta); his niece Jade Bolton; his great grandchildren, Kaison Smith, D. J. Winston, Robyn Winston and Cynthia Winston; his children, Dylan and Kiambu; his goddaughter Cassandra Wilson Turney; his close friends, Ben Carrigan and Keith Sims; and his extended family, Woodrow Stuart, George Smith, Dorothy Hindman, Gwen Fort, Michael Faucette, Ira Thomas, Reverend Willie, Ruth Collins and Cheryl Crutcher. He is also survived by seven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hicks Funeral Home (407 S Hazel St, Hope, AR 71801). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Washington Cemetery (112 Carrigan St, Washington, AR 71862).
