She was predeceased by : her parents, William Arthur and Virgie Corean Grady Sewell; her husband Jim Bill Patterson; and her siblings, Wayne Sewell, Louise English, Clara Pitcarin and Daisy Hill.

She is survived by : her daughter Sandra Smith (Wayne) of Watson; her sister Sharon K. Gasaway (Herman) of Star City; her grandchildren, Jason Cole Smith (Melissa) and Holli Renee Mayer (Ray); and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Andrew Mayer, Ryan and Layne Smith.
