He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Newsom and Jeannette Newsom (Cagle); and his siblings, Ricky, Lenny Newsom and Ann Whitson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Newsom (Davis); his children, David Newsom Sr. of Mammoth Springs, Harold Newsom Jr. of Harrisburg, Pam Kramer of Weiner and Lisa Hewitt of Weiner; and his brothers, James Newsom of Lambrook, Michael Newsom of Viola, Andy Newsom of West Helena, Sammy Newsom of El Paso and Wade Newsom of Helena. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great~nieces and nephews.
