With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn Elizabeth Bishop of West Fork, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Geels and Louise Geels; and her siblings, Gilbert, Jerome, Eugene Geels, Dorothy Weisenfels and Laverne Stovall.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Bishop of West Fork; her daughters, Angela Bishop of Lake Village and Monica Martin (Jamie) of West Fork; her brothers, Jim Geels of Scranton, Bobby Geels of Scranton and Eddie Geels of Paris; her grandchildren, Brittany Huffman (James), Cole Martin (Brittny) and Hunter Martin (Annah); and her great grandchildren, Laynie, Mayleigh, Mark Cole Jr. and Andie.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bishop-King Funeral Home (1831 South Highway 65 & 82, Lake Village, AR 71653). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Brentwood Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Baptist Church (2201 N Center St, Fayetteville, AR 72701).
