It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Gray Sr. (West Helena, Arkansas), who passed away on December 14, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Gray; his parents, Victoria Cheers Barrow and Sam Gray, Jr.; his brothers, Sam Gray III, Reverend David Gray, Larry Gray and Fredrick Howard; and his brother-in-law Robert Hailey.
He is survived by: his son Calvin Gray, Jr. of Little Rock; his stepdaughters, Camisha McClain, Mikayla Franklin, Nakaylan Franklin and Alexus Franklin; his stepgranddaughter Xylei Johnson; and his siblings, Lonevia Smith of Helena, Vickey Franklin of Helena, Mae Frances Hughes (Willie) of Helena, Almedia Jones of Benton, Arkansas, Jodie Hailey of Tacoma, Washington, Freddie Gray of Helena, Anthony Gray of Helena, Bill Cheers of Lynn, Massachusetts and Terry Gray (Yvonne) of Conway, Arkansas.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends.
