She was predeceased by: her mother Sadie Ruffin Burt; her husband Derwood Johnston; and her father David Burt. She is survived by: her children, Derwood Johnston (Mary Jo) of Maumelle, Arkansas, Shirley Taylor of Little Rock and Aubrey Johnston (Dianna) of Moultrie, Georgia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; host of family and friends.
