With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Levi Speed of West Helena, Arkansas, who passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Speed and Elizabeth Speed; and his siblings, James Speed, Earnest Speed and Sadie Anderson.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Diane Young; his children, Andre Speed and Algernon Speed; his grandsons, Alexander Speed and Myles Speed; his siblings, Robert Speed, Clarence Speed, Winston Speed, Mamie Thornton (Clarence), Elizabeth Swopes (Edward) and Sharion Speed; and also Levi.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Home For Funerals (417 Walnut St, Helena, AR 72342). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Church of the Living God (201 Memphis, West Helena, AR 72390). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at the New Zion Cemetery.
