As we bid Monica farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Monica is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her mother Addie Elizabeth Ester; and her grandsons, Draylen Simmons and Mahki Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Chikiyah Truitt of Lakeview, AR, Jameya Simmons of Lexa, AR, Malik Simmons of Bryant, AR and Jada Simmons of Lakeview, AR; her siblings, Tina Jones of Sherwood, AR, Edwina Young of Lakeview, AR and Billy Jones, Jr. of Chicago, IL; and her close friend Victor Wynne. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
