She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Lewis and Evelyn Lewis; her siblings, Deborah Lynn Hill and Ezra Dion Lewis; her sister-in-law Rubye Patterson; her uncle Lubin Henry; and her aunts, Rubye Williams, Carrie Cooper and Pearl Duncan.
She is survived by: her husband David Billingsley; her children, Keona Henderson of Pine Bluff, AR and Daruis Billingsley of Fort Worth, TX; her brother Johnny Patterson of Olympia Fields, IL; her sister-in-law Michelle Lewis of Fort Worth, TX.; her uncle Winsley Henry; her aunts, Rosetta Ester and Wanda Smith; her grandchildren, Kiarra Billingsley, Darius Billingsley Jr., Devonte Billingsley, Dimitrik Billingsley and De Kerian Billingsley; her nieces and nephews, Aller Gause, Jasmine Johnson, Sequioyah Kines, Barbara Davis, Eugene Gause, Marcus Patterson and Sean Patterson; and her close friends, Linda Faye Franklin, Minnie Bell-Williams, Dorothy Spencer, Diana Linsey, Carolyn Turner and Laquana Green. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and very dear friends.
She taught for 35 years where she positively impacted the lives of numerous young students and received various accolades and proclamations for her outstanding contributions to student achievements.
