She is survived by: her children, Larry Evans II (Alecia), Michael David Evans (Nikki), Caleb Evans and Kalah Evans; her siblings, Raymond Simes, Alvin Simes (Emma) and Jewel Simes-Hamilton (Bruce); and her sister-in-law Author. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
