He is survived by: his wife Glenda Nelson; his children, Brittany Nelson and Andrew Lee Nelson, II (Whitney); and his siblings, Georgella Nuckles-Brown of Marion, Mary Ella Ford of Lansing, MI, Henry Nelson of Asheville, NC, Byron Nelson of Monrovia, CA, Alvin Nelson (Vernessa), Chris Nelson of West Memphis, Willie Ed Nelson of Hampton, VA and Dr. Calvin Briggs of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
