She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Melton Gregory, Sr. and Belle Grimes Gregory; her husband Thomas McElyea; and her son Dennis McElyea. She is survived by: her children, Kay LeGrow (Bob) of Hernando, MS and Gary McElyea (Dana) of Sardis, MS; her daughter-in-law Kathy McElyea of Heafer, AR.; her grandchildren, Brett LeGrow (Jennifer) of Olive Branch, MS, Genia McElyea (John Mullins) of Rowlett, TX, Johanna Welch (Shawn) of Bono, AR, Gregory McElyea of Wilmore, KY, Jessica Hauck of Como, MS and Kaleb McElyea of Houston, TX; her great grandchildren, Abigail Ramsey (Dillon), Brooke LeGrow, Avery Welch, Blake LeGrow, Addie Wood, Samuel Wood and Rayland Hauck; and her great great grandchildren, Jax, Wes and Brynn Ramsey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
