As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Peggy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Edrington and Naomi Edrington; her husband Sam Simmons; and her sister Janet Danielson. She is survived by: her son Mark Simmons (Kristy); and her siblings, Margaret Beasley (David), Harrison Edrington, Danny Edrington (Lynn) and Terry Edrington (Janie). She is also survived by 5 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 2 step-grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
