With sadness, we share the passing of Richard Paul Yawn (West Memphis, Arkansas). Richard, born on July 21, 1986, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Karen; his uncles, David, Ricky and John Curlin; his aunt Brenda LaFoy; and his close friend Bobby Eckland.
He is survived by: his parents, James Yawn, Sr. (Jim) of Marion, AR and Linda Curlin Yawn; his children, Penny and Sawyer of Marion, AR; his brothers, Robert Clarke (Jennifer) of Crawfordsville, AR and Jim Yawn, Jr. of Franklin, KY; and his close friends, Jonathan Jones and Catlin Kelly. He is also survived by two aunts; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor his memory by giving an extra hug to your kids tonight, petting your dog or cat a little extra, read a comic book, play your favorite video game, or donate to the Scouts of America Troop 34 or Pack 172.
