Selma Nix Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Selma Nix (West Memphis, Arkansas), who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Selma find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Hendrix and Clara Elliott Hendrix; her husband Sammy L. Nix; and her sisters, Flo Swindle, Maxine Davenport and Grace Moore.
She is survived by: her sisters, Syble Morgan and Nell Lea; her sons, Glenn Nix and Gary "Gert" Nix; and her daughter-in-law Rebecca Nix. She is also survived by four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301).
